Diploma in Singapore  

A diploma is generally known as a certificate that is issued by an educational institution once a student has successfully completed his or her course of study in a polytechnic, high school or university.

In Singapore, there are five polytechnics in total that offer diploma. The five polytechnics that offered diploma in Singapore are Singapore Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic, Nanyang Polytechnic and Republic Polytechnic. In each polytechnic, there are many diploma courses that range from business, engineering, applied science, information technology, design to humanities.

The demand is increasing every year and more and more students are sending in their application into business courses, hoping to have a place in it. However, almost or in fact all pure business courses in Singapore need to have at least a pass grade in English in order to have a chance to apply for a place.
