In environment design, students will be introduced to the most updated developments of Singapore, giving them
the opportunity to explore the arts of creating urban areas, together with the combination of the knowledge of
technical and natural sciences. This will equip them with the necessary Environment design skills in creating and
inspiring beautiful urban environments. This will also give them the capability to uplift users’ spirits, becoming
ecologically friendly and economically viable in the long run.
In order to enhance realism, students from environment design will be engaged with real
business projects with regards to their learning. In the process of doing the project, students will be able
to showcase and enhance their creativity, critical thinking, decision making, problem solving and innovation
skills.
The Environment design career opportunities upon graduation include working on parks
management consultancies, horticulture, and architecture, city planning and landscape architecture. After
gaining working experiences, students may even have a chance to establish their own design practice, which is
all designer’s ultimate dream. They can then offer a wide range of design services to people around the world
